Fuel Economy
Fuel economy is becoming more important with each passing year. Gas

Cold-Temperature
Fluidity
Cold, thick automatic
transmission fluid lengthens shift times and reduces energy efficiency
(fuel economy). AMSOIL Synthetic Fuel Efficient ATF is wax-free and delivers
extraordinary cold-flow per formance (<-60°F pour
point). It helps improve shifting response and energy efficiency while reducing warm-up
times.
OUTSTANDING WEAR PROTECTION
Varying speeds and loads causes torque multiplication and extreme stress on gears and bearings. To prevent
wear damage resulting from insufficient fluid film, AMSOIL Synthetic Fuel Efficient ATF is formulated with high film strength
(shear stability) and a select anti-wear/extreme-pressure additive that develops a boundary layer of protection between metal
surfaces. Even though AMSOIL Synthetic Fuel Efficient Automatic Transmission Fluid is a low-viscosity, fuel-efficient fluid,
it has demonstrated its ability to protect as well as or better than higher-viscosity fluids in the most severe industry tests.
The Pour Point Test determines the lowest temperature at which a lubricant will flow.
The lower a lubricant’s pour point, the better protection it provides in low temperature
service. Unlike conventional oils that solidify in cold temperatures, AMSOIL Synthetic Motor
oils remain fluid down to -58° F. AMSOIL Synthetic Motor Oil helps engines turn over easier
and flows quickly to engine parts for critical start-up protection. Engines start faster
and wear is greatly reduced for extended engine life.

Engines Start Easier
The Cold Crank Simulator Test determines
the apparent viscosity of lubricants at low temperatures and high shear rates. Viscosity
of lubricants under these conditions is directly related to engine cranking and startability.
The lower a lubricant’s cold crank viscosity, the easier an engine will turn
over in cold temperatures. The low cold crank viscosity of AMSOIL Synthetic Motor Oils
reduce drag on moving engine parts and allows engines to achieve critical
cranking speed in extremely frigid temperatures. Engines turn over quickly and dependably
in the coldest winter temperatures due to Amsoils extreme weather pour points. Reduces damage to the starter and
battery and reduces need to plug in equipment.
Group IV -Chemical Reactions:
Group IV base oils are chemically engineered synthetic base stocks. Polyalphaolefins (PAO's) are a common
example of a synthetic base stock. Synthetics, when combined with additives, offer excellent performance over a wide range
of lubricating properties. They have very stable chemical compositions and highly uniform molecular chains. Group IV base
oils are becoming more common in synthetic and synthetic-blend products for automotive and industrial applications.
