I credit AMSOIL Compressor Oil with savings in five areas. By helping our compressors run 20°F to 40°F cooler, we no longer need fans and special ventilation systems for heat reduction. With those cooler operating temperatures and the high-quality fluid, our valves don’t carbon up, so we don’t have to replace them as often. Our compressors draw 10 percent less amperage with AMSOIL Compressor Oil. Our oil consumption is way down. And we’ve gone from three-month to 8000-hour compressor oil drain intervals. Multiply those savings times thousands of compressors and you can see why we’re installing AMSOIL Compressor Oil nationwide.

Air Compressors have very unique suffering points and can be detrimental to a company's efficiency if not properly addressed. Compressors are typically very noisy and, therefore, are frequently placed away from areas of normal daily activities of a business. Because of remote locations, compressors are often "out of sight, out of mind." Low quality compressor oils will cause blown seals and use excessive oil, reducing the protection.

These problems can be overcome with Amsoil PC series compressor oils. Compressors are often placed inside of compartments or small outbuildings that, when constructed, do not take into account the airflow a compressor requires. With little to no ventilation taking place, compressors run very hot causing inferior oils to oxidize, increasing wear and causing drastically shortened oil and equipment life. lf located in areas with poor ventilation, compressor air intakes often reuse hot air, causing major carbon deposits to form on valves, this is called re-compression.

     Equipment Sufferinq Points

  • Lack Of Maintenance and Neglect
  • Minimal oil changes - Usually hard to get at location

  • Poor Locations Due to noise - Enclosed area

  • Air intake issues - Lack of fresh air

  • Valve Deposits - Carbon buildup

  • Manifold explosions

  • Overheating due to poor ventilation

  • Foaming of oil - Shorter oil life

       Amsoil Solution
  • PCK will withstand higher Temperatures - Wider operating temperature range

  • Lower Carbon buildup - Reduces Hotspots

  • Extended Drain Intervals - Lasts 8 times longer- 50 % reduction in lube cost

  • 8000 hour service life or longer with oil analysis
  • Heat and Oxidation resistant - Runs Cooler - 25 % increase in product output
  • Improved Efficiency - Lowers Energy Consumption - 6 % electric reduction
  • Resists Water Contamination - Wont mix with water
  • Controls Foam
  • Reduced oil Consumption
  • Reduces Wear - 25 % reduction in maintenance expenses
  • Capital Expense reduced by 10 % Resulting in 15 % profit increase
