Synthetic Ester Oil / Coolant for Rotary
Compressors and Vacuum Pumps - ISO 32/46 - View or Download
Air Compressors have very unique
suffering points and can be detrimental to a company's
efficiency if
not properly addressed. Compressors are typically very
noisy and, therefore, are frequently placed away from areas
of normal
daily activities of a
business. Because of remote locations, compressors are often "out of sight, out of mind." Low quality compressor oils
will cause blown seals and use excessive oil, reducing
the protection.
These problems can be overcome with Amsoil PC series compressor oils. Compressors are often
placed inside of compartments or small outbuildings
that, when constructed, do not take into account the airflow a compressor requires.
With little to no
ventilation taking place, compressors run very hot causing inferior oils to oxidize, increasing wear and causing drastically shortened oil
and equipment life. lf located in areas with poor
ventilation, compressor air intakes often reuse
hot air, causing major carbon deposits to form on
valves, this is called re-compression.
